There are awards, and then there is the Guinness Book of World Records. People and organisations labour throughout life to get their names registered there once. What would you call someone who is the only Indian to have his name registered in the prestigious Guinness Book of World Records, not once, not twice, not even thrice, but nine times? Well, we call him Dr Vivek Bindra.

Nine Guinness World Records: A Remarkable Achievement

Dr Vivek Bindra, the famous business coach, the world’s number one influencer, the leading leadership consultant, and the Founder and CEO of Bada Business Pvt. Ltd. He has won the coveted Guinness World Record an astounding nine times so far, and that too on varied topics and subjects like HR, Finance etc., thus becoming the only one in the country to be able to do so.

Beating the Dreaded Pandemic And Teaching Others How To Do So: Dr. Bindra’s First Guinness World Record

No one alive today can ever forget the dark time they had to face in the year 2020, starting from the month of March. That was the time when the dreaded virus COVID-19, short for CoronaVirus Disease-2019, was at its peak. People were not only losing their jobs and livelihood, but millions lost their lives too around the world. This resulted in the governments globally announcing an instant lockdown, including that in India, and life as we knew it came to a complete standstill. Dr Bindra had many live sessions planned for the period, but owing to the necessary lockdown, everything had to be cancelled. That was when he came up with the brilliant idea of holding the seminars online, or webinars as it is now commonly known.

He won his first GWR (Guinness World Record) during that period in April 2020 for holding the world’s largest online business lesson. That was the very first webinar Dr Bindra held during that time. Many other companies and trainers tried to do the same and held webinars too, but could only gather some thousand to two thousand people to attend them. Dr Bindra’s very first webinar itself had more than 13 Lakh participants from across the globe attending it. Hence, the GWR!

World’s Largest Online Sales Lesson: Dr. Bindra’s Second Guinness World Record

The second GWR didn’t take long and came to hold the world’s largest online sales lesson the very next month, in May 2020. June, August, and September of the same year saw Dr Bindra getting the next three GWRs. The year 2021 came in with his next three world records in the months of June, August, and October, while he earned his 9th GWR in September 2022.

What is worth noting here is that all the GWRs he has earned so far earlier belonged to people from several other countries like Russia, China, Great Britain etc. Dr Bindra, working towards his goal aligned with that of our esteemed PM of making Bharat a Vishwa-Guru, is the first and the only Indian to get them all together for the country now. This, in itself, should be a great matter of national pride for each and every Indian.

A Streak of Success: Multiple Guinness World Records in 2020

Along with the 9 Guinness World Records, Dr Bindra also holds a place in the much-fancied Golden Book of Records for training the largest gathering of HR professionals under one roof with his event ‘Can HR become a CEO?’ He has in a while earned many other awards and honours with a list long enough to cover many pages, like Times of India – Speaking Tree awarding him as the Best CEO Coach in India, PwC awarding him with the Pride of The Nation award, and Maruti Suzuki awarding him for being the Best Corporate Trainer in India for two consecutive years.

Beyond Guinness: Executive Coach and Global Trainer

Dr Bindra is also a respected Executive Coach for the top 100 CEOs in India and has trained and groomed millions of people in more than 25 countries now.
